Services

Electrical measurements

We carry out electrical measurements, inspections and commissioning of electrical installations in accordance with the requirements of regulatory acts. Measurements and opinions are prepared by certified specialists.

Measurements and tests

We offer electrical measurements and wiring tests for residential, public and industrial buildings. Our certified specialists carry out measurements in accordance with MK Regulation No. 238 “Fire Safety Regulations” and prepares the necessary documentation in accordance with the requirements of regulatory acts.

We carry out the following measurements and tests:

  • Measurements of insulation resistance of electrical wiring
  • Measurements of the full resistance of the loop “phase-zero”
  • Ground resistance measurements
  • Checking the continuity of the grounding conductor
  • Measurements of the lightning protection system
  • Checking contact connections with a thermal imager

We also offer other measurements

In addition to standard electrical measurements, we also carry out specialized measurements and analyses for various objects and power supply systems.

Frequently Asked Questions

Learn the essentials about service, process and collaboration — all the essentials in one place.

What are electrical measurements?

Electrical measurements are inspections of electrical wiring and power supply system, during which its safety, technical condition and compliance with regulatory requirements are assessed.

Why are electrical measurements needed?

Electrical measurements are necessary not only for safety, but also for compliance with regulatory enactments. According to the rules of MK No. 238 “Fire Safety Rules” inspection of electrical wiring, including grounding and lightning protection devices, should be carried out no less than once every 10 years, but at individual facilities more often. The absence of an inspection can lead to risks in fire safety inspections, administrative consequences and difficulties in obtaining insurance compensation, since if the cause of the fire is related to electricity, insurers assess whether the mandatory electrical safety requirements have been met.

Are electrical measurements necessary before commissioning?

Yes, in many cases, electrical measurements are a necessary part of the commissioning of an object or wiring. They certify that the system has been tested and meets technical and safety requirements.

What are insulation resistance measurements?

Insulation resistance measurements check the insulation condition of cables and wiring. They help determine whether the insulation is not damaged and whether the system is safe for further operation.

What are loop “phase-zero” measurements?

Measurements of the full resistance of the “phase-zero” loop help to evaluate the performance of protective devices in the event of damage. These measurements are important for the safety of the wiring and for automatic disconnection in situations of short circuit or damage.

Why is it important to check the grounding?

Grounding measurements are important because the grounding system protects people and equipment in the event of damage. Insufficiently effective grounding can increase the risk of electric injury, equipment damage and fire.

What is thermography in wiring?

Thermography is an examination of wiring with a thermal imager, which helps to identify overheated connections, congested areas and other defects without disassembling the system. This is an effective method for early detection of potential problems.
